Magical Place

Yesterday was a really stressful day. I had to fly back to Vienna for the BIK BOK flagship store opening in Mariahilferstrasse and almost missed the flight, since I underestimated how busy it will be at the airport. Santorini’s airport is really small and it was totally packed when I arrived there. The flight was pretty relaxed until a really uncomfortable incident: A lady brought her dog on the plane, which was stored in a small bag. During the flight she took him out of the bag and the poor dog started to be stressed and started to be very hectic. The lady probably wanted to put him back into the bag and the dog bit her pretty bad. It was such a crazy situation as she was yelling at the dog and all three flight attendants been trying to manage the situation for over half an hour but couldn’t. I felt so sorry for the dog as it has obviously not been his fault. However, after landing I had to rush to the event, which was AMAZING. I have never experienced a better opening. Anyways, I took the first flight back to Thira the next morning as I was too excited to finally check into our last hotel called Tsitouras Collection. How epic does out TC Villa look? Zorana and me took the chance to take some outfit posts in front of it. Do you like them? (Outfit Details Below)

PS: My Santorini Video Part 1 is currently uploading, make sure to check it out HERE later today!

Talk to you soon

I’ll tell you what! Santorini is beautiful but I definitely underestimated the fact that mostly everything is built on a cliff and when you are walking down you sure have to walk back UP again. Haha, well I guess our booties will thank us for the extra walk or let’s call it a hike (I stopped counting the stairs up to the main street from our hotel, because they were too many, haha). No, I am serious, it is pretty hard to get moving through the hotel areas and small narrow streets (exept of the main walk) as it gets really really hot during the day and you damn sure will walk up and down and up and down a lot and feel dehydrated after 5 minutes. Woohoo! Daily mini workout, done! :D Anyways, yesterday we’ve explored another part of the island, called Ammoudi. It is very close to Oía (around 10-15 minutes from Imerovigli by car, approximately €15 for a ride) and it really showed us the volcanic part of Santorini. Dark red rocks and hills and most beautiful view. Unfortunately we arrived there pretty late so I do not have a proper image for you to show, so check this link if you could like to see how this place looks like by day :D Well, as I said, we went there to have dinner and made a reservation at Katina Fish Tavern which got recommended by locals. As this restaurant is located directly next to the ocean, the fish was fresh and absolutely good! I love the greek hospitality and feel totally at home anywhere I go here and if you are visiting Santorini make sure to visit this restaurant! At least for the view:) By the way: do you like my outfit from yesterday? I am sure you have already noticed that I am weak for basic fashion pieces, I love to wear it and I never get sick of it. I have also been wearing the same Mango sandals as in my other post, just in a different color. Yes, I totally love them, the only thing that annoys me is the fact that the laces ALWAYS move down my legs after 10 minutes of walking :( Do you experience the same or is something wrong with the way I tie them, haha?

Today has been pretty relaxing, we haven’t been doing much except having some fun by the pool. As you can see I got a little sunburnt as I haven’t put any high protection on my skin :( But it will get better soon. During the day it is just way to hot to go and explore things (mostly around 30 – 35 degrees) so this is why we spend most of the time in the hotel, taking photos of random stuff, haha and the amazing view of course. Around 5-6 pm we are always heading either to Fira or Oía to visit the small shops, watch the sunset and have drinks and dinner and fun talks with the locals. Zorana and me have been filming our trip since the first day so make sure to check our videos which are going to up pretty soon HERE and HERE.

And I have finally made it to Greece! It is my first time in this beautiful country and I am amazed. Unfortunately I didn’t make it to Athens before our trip to Santorini, but it is on my bucket list for sure! These are my outfit photos from yesterday when we have visited Oía (we are currently staying in Fira). I was absolutely impressed by the beauty of the island last night.. no single filter needed for any photo, but I guess the images on my Instagram speak for themselves. Has anyone been to Santorini of you guys before? What are your tips for the island? Let me know :) Today has been a really hot day and we managed to stay by the pool the entire time, haha. We are about to go for dinner to Oía again, and getting ready as we speak. Talk to you later!!

If someone tells you you can’t, then prove you can! Not to them, but to yourself. In life nothing is impossible if you have dreams and goals and.. if you work hard enough for it!  This year was full of adventures already, I have been traveling so much (been sitting on my 38th flight this year – unbelievable) , I visited so many different new places and now I can also tell you the reason why I have been visiting beautiful (and cold, haha) Oslo, Norway so many times lately: I am designing an own fall/winter collection with Scandinavian fashion label BIK BOK!

How exciting?! :-) *bigsmileonmyface* BIK BOK is one of Scandinavia’s leading fashion labels and already opened stores in Austria a few months ago. On the 18th of June they are finally opening a flagship store in Mariahilferstrasse, Vienna, where you will be able to check out my collection! With this collaboration, one of my dreams is coming true: designing own fashion pieces exactly the way I want. How crazy! I still cannot believe this is happening but I am thrilled and extremely happy. And guess what? My collection will be in stores this Fall already! I am not able to show you some previews at this stage, but I will post little updates and sneak peeks for you guys shortly.

What are your thoughts on that? Are you as excited as I am??? :D Can’t wait to hear your opinion!

Talk to you soon

IT’S A VLOG!

During my second trip to Australia this year (from March to May), I have been filming a daily Snapchat Story for you guys and decided to share all the videos from now on on my new YouTube VLOG Channel! I hope you will enjoy them and I hope you will get a tiny clue of how it has been for me in Australia the past few months. A little background story to start with: I have never planned on filming my trip as I only wanted to share photos of my journey on Insta. My friend Sarah convinced me to download Snapchat before my trip and I started to like it a lot. I realized that more and more people start to watch it and comment on my clips and I felt really really connected to my followers. Now I am more than happy that I have started this Vlog Journey and I really hope you like it as well. I will keep filming on my Snapchat as usual but I will be uploading my Aussie Vlogs on my YouTube Channel frequently. Please have in mind that the first ones might be a bit ‚lame‘ ‚weird‘ or ‚boring‘ but I have been a bloody beginner and really did not know what to film/talk about etc. LOL :D I hope you understand.

And now.. Enjoy and please don’t forget to Like + Subscribe for more videos!
