JUDGE FOR ONE DAY

The past few weeks have been crazy but just amazing! I am at the point where I ask myself.. can it get any better? Probably! As you know, I just landed in Sydney a few days ago, spent some amazing days there and now I am staying in beautiful Brisbane as I got here yesterday. Anyways, you can join me on my Australia trip via Instagram or Twitter and read everything about it here on my blog! I am so excited to share the most amazing spots and funny moments with you guys! But stop, back to Europe for a moment! I have not told you about one great event from the past few weeks, which I got to attend: I was invited to assist as one of the judges for the Austrian Hairdressing Award 2015 by Schwarzkopf Professional.

What was it all about? Well, Schwarzkopf Professional invited 20 independent personalities: hair dressing experts, stylists as well as personalities from the beauty and lifestyle industry to judge different collections from all qualified contestants in Austria. It basically worked like this: Austrian hair salons prepared their most impressive and interesting hair style collection for 2015. The whole process has not been easy for them! Each one of the contestans have been working hard on their collections during the past few weeks and months with professional photographers and models to appy for the award, which is, by the way highly appreciated in this industry.

We, the judges, came together in a private atmosphere  with Schwarzkopf Professional at the beautiful Ringstrassen-Palais in Vienna and picked our favorite looks, which was actually pretty hard! I could hardly decide which I liked the most, since every single contestant did a very good job. At the end of the day, we made our final decision! The event has been delightful! I met interesting people, I got to marvel amazing hairstyles by different austrian hair dressers and we also had some yummy food, haha! Well, now I cannot wait for the award show by the 26th of April at „Marx Halle, Karl-Farkas-Gasse 19, 1030 Wien“ to see the winners!
